Media Homework - Magazine
The article i have selected from a music magazine i bought is "JUST-IN TIME", this article is about Justin Timberlake. This articles main point is to make Justin look unique, further on it says there is nothing Justin can't do, this sentence is trying to make Justin look like an all-rounder. Also the writer of the article mentions how Justin made a transition from a boyband fodder to serious actor. The final effect of this article on the reader is that Justin will have more fans.

Evaluation...
After a long two weeks i finally finished my magazine front cover and contents page. There are many things I have learnt about the technologies employed in the process of constructing this project. The main technology I used to create the magazine cover was photoshop elements. Photoshop allowed me to create a realistic looking cover that includes everything a real magazine does One good tool i used on photoshop was the healer tool . this allowed me to improve my model image and make it look as good as possible. I also used the cloning tool to remove any unnecessary parts of the image such as text. The grid tool was also very useful as it meant that I could line all the aspects of the cover, making the layout neater and not distract the readers attention. Using blogger has also been very useful as any posts I have put up about techniques I can refer back to for help with my magazine cover.

College Concrete
The name of my magazine is going to be "College Concrete". I have chosen this name because the word "College" shows the audience that this magazine is about a college lifestyle. I have chosen "Concrete" because concrete means a material or physical form; real or solid; not abstract. Both words combined together "College Concrete" means a magazine that will help students to get good grades and survive the college lifestyle.

Reader Profile
Lukas is 16 years old and just finished his GCSE's, he just applied for Norbury Manor Sixth Form College. He is still thinking about what A level he should study. One of his favourite subjects is Business Studies. He's got excellent grades and got accepted at Norbury Manor College. His favourite sport is football. Lukas loves to play football in his free time. Also he listens to Hip Hp music. My magazine would suit him because my magazine gives tips about A levels and how to decide what A levels to take. Another reason why my magazine suits him is that my magazine will have sports articles. The sports article will be about the different sports our College/Sixth Form has to offer. My magazine is aimed at Students aged between 16-19. In addition my magazine has all the information a new student needs in order to start college. Lukas will also get a chance to get to know some students at our college by reading the "College Concrete “magazine. My magazine is perfect for someone who wants to start college but does not know how to decide what A levels to choose for example someone like Lukas.
